Project Area: 7,000 sf
The project consisted of the new construction of a Zoroastrian Fire Temple for the Zoroastrian Association of Houston, Texas. The temple melds the languages of both traditional and contemporary architecture into one building which, through the use of filtered light, articulated ceilings and properly proportioned spaces, creates a place that is conducive to spiritual worship. Working closely with the congregation throughout the design process, Rivetna Architects designed a temple that provides a meaningful place of worship for multiple generations of worshippers which will endure for years to come.
